Our roots stretch back to The Sona Group, an organization founded more than 100 years ago in pre-independence India. The Group’s founder built nineteen institutions across the country, from which Global A1 RCM still employs students each year. In 1984, The Sona Group expanded into the business management sector and established India’s first IT development center.

In 2000, The Sona Group established Global A1 RCM Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a claims processing company for some of the largest healthcare organizations. After ten years of tremendous growth, including the addition of consulting, engineering, IT services, and finance business units, Global A1 RCM Technologies Inc. opened a headquarters in New York City. Since then, the company has partnered with hundreds of Fortune 500 companies and won countless awards for its solutions across sectors.

In 2024, we launched a rebranding campaign to emphasize our growing portfolio of healthcare clients. Our new name, Global A1 RCM, reflects our reputation as a leading provider of professional services to health systems, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, physician groups, and more.
